International WiFi Calling Question...

Hello all,

I will be traveling to Germany soon and want to use GrooVe IP to make WiFi calls to the U.S.

Since calls would be over WiFi, would I still need to dial the country code or is just the area code and number acceptable?

Sorry for what is probably a dumb question,
