Internal clock/date way off

Hello all. Need your help. Have an X (wireless only) that is presently showing a time of 1:08 am, April 30th. Have powered off phone. No luck. 2 battery pulls. No luck. Phone was running fine this morning (use it as an alarm clock) when I left. It appears to have tried an automatic update at 2:21 pm with a market app and failed. All other apps/systems appear to be working (even Weather Bug Elite), so it's not a gps issue. Have tbh 2 part with dsx. Have not done a factory rest or flashed a backup yet. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dumb question, is "use network settings" in date and time checked? If not, check it and reboot. If it is clear it, reboot, check it, and reboot again. Just a thought.

It was checked. Fudged around with it, and took it out of airplane mode (read somewhere this conserves some battery on radio or somethng), rebooted and worked. I've had the exact setting for some time without issue. Don't know why it acted up today. I do truly appreciated the insight. Thank you.
