Insurance question

My girlfriend has had a Droid Incredible for about 2 - 3 months now, and a few days ago she decided she wanted to get insurance on it. Verizon told us we could go online and add insurance (they were well aware that it was older than 14 days). However, I went online and I didn't see any option to add it.

Is Asurion the same thing? If not, could we still add their insurance through them? I went to their website but it just mentions filing a claim.
