Installing Roms

I just rooted my friends incredible and am going to install a rom for him. Now I have a droid x and install roms on that. Is it a different process or just the same of booting into clockwork recovery, clear data and cache and then install zip from sd card?

Liquidrush is good atm I'm using miui its iPhone type I like it alot. I've. Also used cryogen7 all good its basically up to the user. Use rom manager there all in there u can install it then use 4shared mobile to get premium.

The process isn't the same, there's no bootstrap, this device is fully rooted. Big difference between how much you can do with the device.
