Installing 3.1 on droid 2 GB OTA

Hey there, Im running the GB ota and am rooted. But im not quite sure how to install liquid (wich I believe is a 2nd init rom). Should I bootstrap and just bootstrap flash from the sdcard or do I have to sbf back to froyo and install from there. Im new to the droid, but I have tons of roms on my OG droid. Any help would be appreciated TY

You should flash it straight from the gb ota as long as you wipe!

Well I installed it and ran great, but I used bootstrap to go into recovery and install jakesmod, but it boot looped before I could even install. So can I not use boot strap to get into recovery after installing liquid, if so what should I use?

You can not use the bootstrap application to boot into recovery if on liquid or cm 7 instead hold down power button do bring up the phone options menu, choose reboot then recovery. You can only use that method or use Rom manager.
