install skin failed? weather/toggle widget

recently bought weather and toggle widget, wanting to put the steampunk flip clock, weather, and widgets on my homescreen. the app installed fine, and i can get the default clock/weather in my home screen, as well as the control widgets. but any clock skins i try to install (after downloading them form the market) all fail. the error "install skin failed" comes up. for every single one.

the closest ive gotten to a steampunk flip clock is 2 out of the 3 numbers will change. the background of the clock stays the same, and the 3rd number will remain unchanged.

any ideas? anyone experiencing the same thing?

eventually it just decided to work. the developer told me to reinstall, but I got it working before I had to do that
