Incredible2, Droid X, D2G, or G'Zone Commando?

Without going into a huge convo about it, I've basically had to have 4 different samsung fascinates sent out to me due to manufacturer defects or problems.

A supervisor that worked with me today has agreed to send me out a different comparable model. (so no TB, Charge, etc)

I figured this is the best place to get advice other than the research I can do on my own. Just from experience which of the following would any of you recommend. I'd really appreciate it.

(oh and please save the "sounds like you're ripping off verizon" comments because its not the case.)

HTC Incredible 2
Droid X
Droid 2 Global
Iphone 16g
G'zone Commando

Any one I choose will be CPO of course.

i have the incredible 2 and so far i love it, i came from the motorola droid which seemed to be the fastest out dated phone i've ever owned. it was great for like the first few months then the nexus came out, but after getting frustrated with the tiny amount of ram, and rom on the droid i got the incredible2 bought it off contract, the first day i got it, and charged the battery i went 18hours on a charge, 4.5hours of it was display, used wifi about 1/4 of the time. althought monday and today with in 3 hours of use it was down to like 80% battery whith only 1hr of screen time and everything else was seconds of use, i think i prolly could have pulled maybe 10-11 hours out of it. so i havent gotten to consisten of battery useage yet, but it is pretty much a smaller version of thunderbolt, quadrant i get between 1350-1630. linpack like 36Mflops screen is beautiful, love htc sense, hate the verizon bloat ware. the notification led seems to be limited to only green and orange, on the droid if i got a yahoo email it would be a purple led. so i really miss that. the qik video app is nice, but when in chat it doesnt want to switch cameras, i have to exit out of the chat go to the Record and Share thing, choose camera there. then when i go back into video chat the camera option that was last selected in the Record and share will be the one on the video chat. its very annoying. also i like that its all one piece, the droid was great at first but eventually you could feel the two parts of it give and it started to feel cheap. i dont like ht eplacement of the volume keys. if its in any of the docks (the incrdble2 that is) the volume keys arent accessable and also inlandscape mode you tend to hit the volume keys since they are the bottom of the device. other then thsese things i've mentioned i really enjoy my incredible2 and glad i chose it. thunderbotl was to expensive and ****y battery life(prolly cuz it people have it searching for 4g, when its not in a 4g area).

Thanks so much. That is actually the one I'm leaning towards. Before my fascinate I had the Eris and I really liked what HTC had to offer. And what I like about the fascinate (when it works lol) is the thinner, sleeker look which I definitely think the incredible2 has vs say the TB. I really do like HTC's UI. Ive noticed a lot of customizations (be it apps or roms) tend to mimic it.

honestly until android gets a complete overhaul to fix the loooooong list of issues i wouldn't even bother with one.

yea there are alot of useless clock widgets with sense, and a couple calculators and the Power Control Widget that is a goole widget the brightness button wont do automatic control and neither will HTC's widget so thats frustrating. also notifaction volue is seperate from ring volume and media volume you can set it so notification is the same as ring volume, but it isnt default on that optoin. its very smooth phone i would suggest some sort of case, and the screen protectors literally just protect the screen and not the whole front surface which is also annoying at times. power button isnt the easiest thing to push either. let me know if you have any specific questions. even me being a TI omap fan i think the qualcomm skorpion chip beats the ti chips in the droidx and droid2. althought speaker level and quality hands down goes to motorola. camera seems stellar on the inc2 as well, i also came from 5mp crappy one on the droid tho.

One what? Incredible? Replacement in general?

Sweetdroid-- thankyou. Your posts have been very helpful. Think I've narrowed it down between the Incredible 2 and the Commando... leaning towards the Incredible just because there has been more time for trial and error with droid via HTC than Casio

He has to pick something, a refund didn't sound like an option.

I have a Droid 2, and unless you need a physical keyboard (which is awesome with a gamepad cover btw) I wouldnt go with a D2G. There's better options you have listed. Sorry I can't tell you what to get, however, as I'm not familiar with the other phones.

EDIT: I have seen the Casio phone actually, watching a buddy throw it into a filled sink while it was on was fairly shocking :)

I have the Dinc2 and I like it. I came from BB so not having a real keyboard was a leap of faith. I love that the stock battery is comparable to the BB and although I do have the extended battery, I don't use it unless I am going to be away from a charger for an extended period. My hubby got the Commando and loves it. He came from the orig. Droid. He loves that it is built for his lifestyle, he hunts and fishes. It is actually pretty sleek looking and not bulky. Camara is not as good as my Dinc2, but does a good enough job. Speakers on his blows mine away and call quality on both is good. Every phone has it's pros and cons so figure out what your must haves are. Both of these phones are great.

I went with the DInc2. I should have it in a couple days :)

Got it today. Picked up an extended batt. Loving it so far.
