Incredible Won't go Home

Sometimes when I press the "home" button my screen just "blinks" and doesn't go home. I have to hit the "back" button to go home....anyone know what's up with that?

I've never had that problem with my D3, and I'm not familiar with the DInc, although my mom has one. Do you have any alternative Home apps installed? Like Go Launcher, ADW Launcher, etc?

Ok, go to Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>HTC Sense>Force Stop. If force stopping it doesn't work, go back and clear data. HTC Sense will be your stock Home launcher and clearing data won't hurt it. You might need to resetup your homescreens, though. After all that, reboot your phone, just for good measure. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure how else to help you. Please report back what you find out.

The only thing left after all that is a full factory reset.
