Incredible running incredibly slow!

I have noticed lately that my incredible is running extremely slow. It seems to be taking extra time to open programs, when I text message through Handcent it types the words slow almost to the point that it freezes, and sometimes when I open handcent it goes to a black screen for a few seconds before opening.

I cleared all the browser cache and went into the applications and cleared as many of those caches as would let me. I have tried powering off/on and it still seems to do it.

Any ideas???

Try taking the battery out and putting it back in.that should do it

I have done that on occassion and it seems to fix it at first but then starts to lag behind again.

Oh idk then man might me tech issues. Take it to verizon

Im having this problem also. I did a factory reset the first time it happened. worked great for a month or so till it happened again. reset it again and within 10 mins it was doing it again. anyone have any words of advice?

Fast Reboot – Reboot the Droid, kinda

I have good luck with this. It was kinda an odd app. But it has worked my opinion.
