Incredible 2 causing BSOD

Tried searching....but couldn't find it. Sorry if this has been hashed out already.....
When I connect my phone to a computer ....any of my computers, it causes the computer to freeze, then BSOD, then the computer reboots.
Any ideas?

1 try different cable
2 try different usb port
3 try different portable device
4 Google search and call pc support and or Verizon. I have never heard of this before.
