In call time out issues???

Every time I'm in a call and need to use the dial pad (like for voice mail or automated services) my screen times out. Ill press the unlock button and before I can touch the screen it will timeout again. This process will repeat and I can't ever get anything done. Anyone know of a solution???

It may not be timing out on you (especially if you're hitting the power button and it's going off again before you can even do anything). Sounds more likely that you're moving your hand to fast/to close to the proximity sensors on the upper left of the phone. When you pull the phone away from your ear, don't put your hand near it. Just pull it away in front of you and look at it. Does it stay lit up then? If it does, you just need to move your hand up from the bottom and slower while using it to keep the sensors from timing out the screen on you.
