IMEI number?

Has anyone been able to find the IMEI number on their Droid Incredible? I used the *#06# and it said the feature updated couldnt be updated when i dialed it.. it was supposed to display the code however, it didnt.. I took the battery out and its nowhere on the phone, also I looked in the settings and theres nothing there either its only an MEID number but I want to unlock my phone.. How will I find the number? Does anyone know or have any advice?

IMEI numbers are specific to GSM and world phones i thought.

My thinking was CDMA has an ESN instead.

hmm so how do you unlock the phone then? no clue ha
