I'm back to Incredible

After a brief excursion on the Thunderbolt I am happily back to the Incredible.

Told my wife it was like having a lost dog that had finally found it's way home.

Glad you're Back! ... But, why didn't you wait a couple weeks to throw down on the Dinc 2? I've been trying to read up a little to try and pinpoint the major differences... I only just got MY kick*ss Dinc a month or so ago... And now the Dinc 2 is just a couple weeks out... Grrrr... Am I missing out on something big? Or am I good to go?

That's EXACTLY what I plan to do. The Incredible is barely used so I didn't have to burn my upgrade. The dInc 2 is the one I hope to end up with.

I'm a total novice to this upgrade stuff. Two questions. What didn't you like about the Thunderbolt? And, I got my Dinc in December. Does that mean I must wait almost two years to take advantage of a less-expensice upgrade?

I rather get the DINC2 over thunderbolt cuz of 4G battery drainage. I read that the DINC2 has similar specs to TB but slightly smaller screen and its 3G

Yes. That's the one I'm waiting for and the DInc will do fine in the meantime. The TB was a bit heavy for me.

The DInc 2 will only weigh .2 oz more than original.

Between the weight and the 4 inch screen it should be perfect for me.

Same guts/specs as TB minus the 4G.

Couple that with Gingerbread and it's gonna' be a helluva' phone.
