If I wanted to sell my old droid...

I was just curious about how it would work as far as it being rooted with a custom ROM on it. Would whoever bought it still be able to activate it normally and everything? Forgive me for my ignorance...

I sold mine a month or so ago rooted running cyanogen for over $100 on ebay, had some accessories with it and it was in very good condition - just be very descriptive as to what your selling...and they should have no problems activating it
