Looks like we (the ones who haven't given in to the leak, yet can stop pressing System Updates! :blink:

Dont know how accurate that is since most Razrs received a message last week saying there phone would be getting a new OS within a week

Not sure "most razrs" is accurate, I know I never received said message.

I also saw a twitter message from VZW support that said the update can be pulled in 8 days. Right now it's only being pushed.

Yeah, that seems to be the case. It will take up to a few weeks for it to be pushed onto your phone, but within 8 days you'll be able to pull it.

For all the people that supposedly got the ics, does it affect battery on the og razr ? Does it improve it? Mess it up? Or stay same?

Haha, I guess? Although as I thought about it I believe they said it could be pulled "within" 8 days. Wondeirng if that means on the 8th day it can be pulled, OR if at some point within 8 days it will be available for pull... Back to mashing the System Updates button, I suppose!

If the soak began on the 22nd late evening. My guess it's that I will receive ics late evening on 27th just like what was rumored in DL.

Yeah, that seems the most logical. The only thing throwing a wrench into that is all the people on this thread that claimed to have received it while never signing up for the soak. Of course, they could be trolling, or maybe some "non-soakers" were mixed into the soak?

Either way, it seems as though the only question remaining is when the soak will end and the full push begin. It's rumored to be on the 27th, which almost guarentees it will not be that day! lol :biggrin:

They send the soak out to soakers and non-soakers alike, you have to remember the RAZR outsold the iPhone so there's a large population of RAZR owners. It doesn't surprise me that so many member seen the OTA without signing up for the soak.

I got the update this morning and I never signed up for a soak test. As I wasn't aware of this thread, I started posting about the update here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/dr...4-0-ics-update-rollout-starting-today-17.html

One thing that doesn't work is the Gallery. This will be good fodder for you conspiracy folks who don't believe the update is being rolled out. I took a screenshot (Power-Vol Down keys) of the "About" screen, but I can't view it. Actually, in addition to not being able to use the Gallery, after I take a screenshot the phone says "Saving screenshot" at the top, but never seems to complete the action...?

I have no reason to make this stuff up....so if there's anything else you want me to look at or try, let me know.
