i don't like ics.....to many dark colors. its fast though. haven't had time to test battery yet though. constant 4g .....i like that but i like the GB colors, look and feel better. i could have waited.
Who has used matts utility with success? Ive been waitin here in cali and if i dont get the update by the time i get off work im going to force the update. Whos had success? And who hasnt?
I think with all the hype, some folks expected something REVOLUTIONARY and are disappointed to some extent. I think if you set the expectation that it is an EVOLUTIONARY step for the OS, you will not be disappointed. It is a more polished and smoother OS with nice (albeit different) UI enhancements along with a some additional features. Nothing Earth shattering and certainly nothing that could not already be had under GB with a rooted phone and alternate launchers, TiBackup, etc.
If you keep it in perspective -- it's a good upgrade. I think more folks will be pleased than displeased.

I forced the update and it couldnt have been easier. I was stock GB because I never got around to rooting my Razr. Its just not as easy or fun as my original Droid or DroidX lol. ICS is neat looking, and I just might root it and start playing with it more. But even stock ICS is nice to look at and fast. If I can force the update, anyone can
90% of people who attempt this run into problems. Honestly i would suggest waiting for another day or two. If you do decide to do this make sure you already have matts utility downloaded on your pc...(pc not mac) and that you have the data cable that came with your razr and that you have a 100 percent charge...as well as an exrra charger laying around incase your battery goes dead if you brick your phone. That way you can splice it and hard wire your battery. I would suggest the easiest route to ensure no issues is use matts utility first. Option 1 only then install from sd card. Verify you have the ota on your sd card as well.
