If you were an official soak tester (signed up in MFN) then you were bound by confidentiality from the get go.
No notification here and I got the phone on launch day. Slightly miffed. I've done everything I can to try to get my phone on the list sooner (signed up for MFN and contacted a Moto guy I know) all to no avail. I got the initial, "It's coming" note back around the 22nd and that's it so far.
I do have Voodoo Root Keeper installed and am rooted. I'm assuming this will not thwart updating in any way.

Again this is more speculation but it seems plausible. Can anyone that just got the OTA today post a snapshot of their screen with the system version and build date? I'm curious to see if they really did tweak the file.

It's the same update. If there had been any changes, there would be a new build date and system version.

I apologize in advance, but I'm still on the road and no time to follow the thread. Haven't received the update, not that it matters, no time to install anyway.:biggrin: If anyone could post a two sentence update as to whether the update is rolling out to the masses, it would be greatly appreciated. It's rolling out in waves, the majority of people should see it by mid next week if all goes well.
Just wanted to chime in and say ICS installed with no problems this morning and is still Build 211. No problems at all with the phone and battery is good. After hearing all the mishaps with soak and trying to get that installed, I just RSD'd and waited for the OTA. If you have problems with it failing or something broken, just RSD and start over. I know it's a hassle but it would probably save you some frustration. Hope everybody gets it soon.
Thanks for the update on the rollout, gotta get off the computer, got other things to do. Thank God for unlimited data plans and the foxfi app I was so graciously pointed to by this forum, otherwise I would not be able to connect even this little bit.
