Occasionally I will go to the market and do some of the updates. Then later, I'll notice a blank spot on one of my home pages. "What used to be there?" I usually figure out that it was the icon to one of the apps I updated. It removed the shortcut from my screen. Whay is that? Is it normal?
I've also had the occasion where my ASTRO File Manager icon is gone from my home screen, then I look in the app drawer and it's not there either. If I go to the market, it says it's installed. Eventually it comes back. Whats up with that?
