Ice Cream Sandwich

Is it possible to get Ice Cream Sandwich on my droidx?
I am a little confused as to upgrading and what this means.
What do I look at my phone to tell what version I am running.
Please explain, thanks!

ICS's source code hasn't been released yet so I think it would be impossible to get it on your X now.

I'm not sure what your confusion about upgrading is. What do you want to upgrade?

Go to phone settings > about phone to get info about what your phone is running.
