Ice Cream Sandwich Update Messed With Email App

I use the stock app to receive my gmail and was able to send emails to a group distribution list prior to the Ice Cream Sandwich update. Since then I can't figure out how to do it on either the stock app or the gmail app. Was that capability removed with the update? Help! Please?

I am having the same problem. Regardless of which e-mail client I use I cannot select a group as the recipient. I tried to use GroupU which apparently solves this problem but it is not compatible with Ice Cream Sandwich! Are the good folk at Google doing anything about this?
