I thought 2.1 has 5 home screen

I was reading up on the Nexus One the day it launched and found out Verizon wouldn't carry it until later I bought the Droid that day.

but on google's website it says Android 2.1, which I believe my phone upgraded to the day I got it, would have 5 home screens...

I still only have 3, how do I get 5?

you upgraded to 2.0.1. from 2.0 like the rest of us.

go to Menu--> settings --> about phone and scroll down to "firmware version"


we're getting 2.1 "soon" so we will get 5 home screens

Soon 2.1 will be released which supports 5 homescreens

if your not patient enough you can download any of th home replacement apps that allow as many as 11 home screens!! I have trouble filling my 4 screens with home ++

There is one way to get the 5 homescreens on 2.0.1
just search for the launcher.apk on the forums,
install it and you WILL have 5 homescreens.

Its an app beeing portet from 2.1 rom
