I miss my Bionic

I didn't. I guess I missed it. I'm excited to check it out. I rooted my X and but not my bionic. Will the root help with my issues. Sorry for the dumb questions but I'm not to savvy with this phone.

I happen to believe that "root" solves many of the issues that everyone is having or has had. The one you first mention the USB Mass Storage, that was just something that disappeared with JB, you can however keep it if you downgrade to ICS 4.0.4. I for one am not sold on all the features of JB (JB does offer custom ROMS), but that's just me. In other terms once you have root, you can delete and say bye-bye to FoxFi, as you don't need it. The Entitlement Hack which changing the properties from "1" to "0" enables the stock Verizon HotSpot app, which for most it works perfectly. I've known some that tie their XBox to it and runs smoothly. The Xternal display works as well, with the proper Motorola cable. There just seems to be so much that can be done with this device, I have bricked my device numerous times and done things I couldn't even repeat, not mention the unlocking of the carriers, but that is something else, this device is incredible it just doesn't die.

If you go into development options and turn on USB Debugging then hook up your phone to your computer it'll recognize it like Storage device. It will say RAZR HD.

mine shows this with debug on or off it dosen't matter, then click razr and it shows the 2 drives
what do you mean by mass storage I can just plug it into computer and move files around any way I want
what it it your looking to do?

go to storage , then click menu, touch usb connection then select MTP(mass storage) or PTP for pics

MTP is not the same as USB mass storage.
