I just received an add for an app???

Has anybody else received anything like this?? I don't have any apps that should be doing this... This is strange..

Update. So an app that I've had installed forever.. Had an update today.. Guess what the update had in it?? Airpush ads... Uninstalled

Yeah.. Its just stupid to do that. Apparently though.. I should've been able to long press on the push and see where it was coming from... But i tried and it dismissed the add... So.. This kind of strange

Be sure to leave a rating on the Play Store to convey that this is not something that is acceptable. I have no problems with ads inside of apps, but developers should not assume it is ok to break out of their app's internal ecosystem.

I used AdAway for years in both my Fascinate & S3 and it caught the majority of ads. I switched to AdFree a few months before picking up my S5 and haven't looked back. Give that one a try if you're not happy with the other two.

Yeah, I tried adaway, but it didn't install host files correctly, haha. I switched back to ADB. thanks though

The thing is.. Our turbos are supposed to have the ability to natively tell you were the air push is coming from... By long pressing the add, it's supposed to tell you where it came from.. Mine just dismissed it... Idk y
