Unless the SGS2 is LTE and Motorola keeps delaying the Bionic. Or anyone else steps up to the plate, and Motorola keeps delaying the Bionic.

Yup thats what most people on these forums are waiting for. All the 4g phones out now are pretty lackluster. If you dont care about 4g, The DX2 and the Droid 3 are the most recent phones out.
I am eligible for an upgrade and my D1 is really on its last legs (none of the hardware buttons work anymore) and am getting tired of waiting for the Bionic, it is nowhere in sight. I think that if the Galaxy S2 is released soon I might go with it, looks pretty impressive for all I have seen. I am not crazy about the all-plastic construction and don't think that it needed to be that thin and light, but otherwise it looks like the best phone out there right now. I am not sure how the bionic will improve on that.

Well I agree , if the GS2 has LTE which I am not holding my breath for. Verizon has been letdown after letdown lately. Also Bionic is "in sight", the CEO said september. Trust me I'm not happy about it, I've been waiting since the rumors about it last year, but atleast its somethin.
