The rebate does come from Verizon but it is a regular VISA card that you can spend anywhere just like a credit card. That's how mine came and it worked fine anywhere I spent it.

Lmao. I took my girlfriend out to a nice Hibachi restaurant with my rebate credit card from when I got my Droid X.

I wonder if I will get to do another mail in rebate when I get the Droid Pro at full retail.

A little better if it is a Visa card....sounds like you got it back in the mail pretty quick...

I may try to sweet talk a customer service agent and see if I can get the instant rebate.....of course with my luck she'll probably make me pay double!
