i forgot how to use recovery

I havnt used my d2g in a year so I forgot how to use the recovery...i know all abt safestrap for d4 but its not the same..
How do I select "restore"? I push the power button to select it but that's not it.


And how do I correctly set the "network settings" to connect to wifi?
I have full wifi signal bars and lit up..but it won't connect to internet..I have data enabled checked, "global" checked, "home only" checked.
What am I missin?
