I feel like a moron that I forgot how to do this. I have a droid1 and have used Rom manager everything, for so long I have forgotten how to manually reboot into recovery. I need to wipe the dalvik in a non rooted phone. It has problems want to try that before a full factory reset.

I don't think you have access to dalvik cache in a non rooted phone... in any case you restart the phone holding the power, x and volume up buttons that should put you in stock recovery. If you are trying to speed up the phone i would say factory reset is your best bet.
