I can't be the only one! Who else holds their Droid lefty?

I'm right handed and usually hold my droid in the left hand so I can use my right hand to use the keyboard using swype. Am I holding it "lefty"?

Wait a minute. I don't hold mine in one hand at all. I hold it with both hands in landscape and use my index finger to type with.

Funny never even thought about it before.

Southpaw here. Most of the time the Droid goes in the right with the left index finger doing the work. But left-handed folks tend to be more ambidextrous than righties, either as a result of brain wiring or being forced to adapt to a right-handed world so I sometimes switch hands.

I am right handed, but hold mine mainly in my left hand. However, I have held it right handed and typed with the left.........

I think I am just confused, either that or its just that easy to do both. :-)

about equal amount in both hands for me, just depends on what I'm doing. My hands are large enough so almost always 'use' the device with the hand that's holding it. I use Swype with both hands as well (again, normally with the hand that is holding the device). Occasionally when Swype isn't accurate I'll have to use both hands but that rarely happens with the new beta. As much as I used to love landscape mode after getting used to using the device with one hand I rarely go into landscape now.

it never occurred to me that the droid was so lefty friendly, but now that I think about it, yeah, i use it lefty style... hard for us lefties livin in a right mans world

Awesome! Glad to see I'm not the only one

For those of you curious, this is how I hold the phone and type (except, of course, with my left instead of right)

That's not me btw. Found it on the youtube

i guess im a switch hitter, i usually use it in my right hand for text, browsing ect, but use it in my left for actual phone talking, but that's mainly due to my hearing is better in my left ear then right (decided to highdive from my highchair as a toddler and messed up my hearing in both ears)
