Has anyone experienced this? I have a Droid HTC Inspire 4G and have always been able to text images, but I can through email.
It just suddenly stopped working through texts. I get the old image can no be sent with exclamation point.
Okay. I did the two things suggested, checked the background data setting and emptied the text cache. No change. Texts will still not send images. Here are the paths to performing those tasks on my Android 12 Samsung Galaxy...
background data usage: settings/apps/textra/mobile data/allow background data usage
cache: settings/apps/textra/storage/clear cache
As soon as I get my app data preserved I will do a phone reset. Saving the app data is a nuisance since not wanting to simply use Google Drive backup and restore due to not knowing which apps are causing the problem, I have to save the data from relevant apps individually and few of them have either backup or export/import functions.
