Huge gap in back battery cover

Hey guys,

First of all i'm happy to anounce that i have been a happy motorola milestone user. This terminal just rocks!

I have a question, because the back cover doesn't seem right.

Is this normal?

Well, no it's not alright for sure, but i heard there are several issues with the back cover from this terminal, is this what you are talking about?

That right side, it has a lot of... "backlash", meaning if i push it down the cover sits nicely but... is this what you meant???

IT feels like the slots aren't ok, and yes, i have tried it several times, the outcome is always this!

Is this easily fixable, or should i send it to warranty?

of course thats not normal. It Broke. Get it fixed. Take it to who you bought from first. Should be free repair under MFG or Carrier Warranty.

Did it come that way or did you not put the cover back on right.

Just go to a VZW store and ask if they have another back cover for it. You may not need a whole new phone.

Motorola will actually send you a replacement at no charge as well to. Visit their website for more info.

Well, it was meant more in jest but I have a cover on my phone and couldn't check it. I did notice, however, that when I tried to place the door on the back of my wife's droid, it looked exactly as it does in the picture until I turned it around.

Is the battery OK?

When the battery failed in my KRZR it swelled up.
