ok so i only see that theres a 2.3.340 "system only" sbf... this implies that there is more to an sbf. what more is there and what is it missing so that its not a "full" sbf?

I could be way off here...but I believe the "system only" sbf will restore just the system files that you have changed.

A "full" sbf wipes the whole thing to a back to stock state and replaces all files with original ones. It is as it was released from verizon themselves. When it actually is;)

Chkmates on the right track!

A system only SBF will only replace your file system, which is used to.upgrade your phones file system to the latest update. In this case, .340.

A full SBF will take your phone back to and or upgrade your phone to. 340. This will bring your to an "Out of the Box" state. Which will upgrade your system, baseband, kernel, and bootloader. And you will have to reactivate with *228 option 1.

Sent from my DROID X.

the full one for 2.2.1 is the 2.3.32 over at mydroidworld. from that, you can use the pieces of the .34 to get up to date (also at MDW)
