Huawei has been doing an outstanding job with their Honor series of phones. The Honor 8 made headlines and quickly became a fan favorite after a huge launch event in California. Huawei has shown that they are committed to breaking into the US market to provide consumers with affordable flagship experiences. The next Honor device will be announced in China on February 21 about a week ahead of Mobile World Congress.
The decision to announce the phone ahead of MWC may mean that this phone is not meant for an international release at least for now. The phone will feature a 5.7" QHD display with Android 7.0 Nougat. The phone will also feature Huawei's Kirin 960 processor. This phone should be a power house. It will have either 4GB or 6GB of RAM, and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. The phone is also expected to include a dual lens camera setup. The V9 will have a show stopping 3,900mah battery. The swimmer in the image seems to suggest the phone will be waterproof. This phone is expected to cost just $394 at release.
