The Honor 8 was one of the most beloved mid tier phones of last year. The premium design coupled with a smaller grip was quite refreshing in a world of behemoth phones. The performance of this device at the price point was also very attractive. Huawei has decided to add to the Honor 8's success and has just announced the rumored Honor 8 Pro in Europe.

The Honor 8 Pro is just £475 which isn't far off from the pricing of the original Honor 8 at launch. This time around the device has an all metal back instead of the glass finish of the standard Honor 8. We still have a dual lens camera setup on the rear of the phone and a rear placed fingerprint scanner. The display is a QHD IPS LCD. The phone is equipped with the blazingly fast Kirin 960 CPU, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of expandable onboard storage, 12mpx2 camera, 4,000mah non removable battery, 3.5mm headphone jack, and USB Type-C port. This phone has it all and may be one of the best values on the market. The only downside may be the overly customized EMUI software.
