HTC Thunderbolt Release Date

I am not feeling the 24th. Vzw updated the Xoom page and Posted on facebook. If they were to go the same day one would think they would update both at same time.

I don't know what to think.

I hope this isn't deviating from the topic but how many here anxiously awaiting the T-Bolt release will be able to take advantage of the 4G capabilities on day one.

I'm solidly in a 4G area already.

I just called Verizon and asked about the TB release and the CSR told me this Thursday the 24th. I asked why no official press release yet and she didn't answer that but repeated that "they" are telling her the 24th...whoever "they" are! I asked it the phone would be available everywhere, even authorized verizon resellers and she said yes. No pre-sales but would be available at all stores and online on the 24th. We shall see!

I was able to view the English version. I have a feeling that since it is saying "introducing...." that is going to be the launch commercial. I am believing Miami and going with the 24th as the launch day. Now Verizon can always change their minds yet again but I think it is still on track for Thursday.

Honestly, i'm fine with paying $300 if LTE costs the same per month as 3G and the free mobile hotspot rumors are true. If you imagine that Verizon will charge $20 extra for LTE, then in 2.5 months you've already saved the $50 difference. In fifteen months, before the contract is up, you've already paid for the phone.
