They still didnt talk about the battery life in those videos.... still just wondering if there is an improvement. But, I guess they cant really review it without it being connected to 3g or 4g since they can only use Wi-Fi right now.

+1 UNC this is just not hard to understand! 10 plus 14 is 24. imho, Apple's legal machine has insured this from the beginning.
that said, I will recognize that "delay" is not completely out of bounds in terms of the BB communication. they've said 14th before (to some), even though many of us recognize that this has been a ploy to keep the level of interest up.
I don't know what BB these people are calling. At my Best Buy (Fayetteville,NC) they told me that they were taking preorders, but that they were NEVER told a release date.... also, when did pimple-faced high school students (BB employees) become the all-knowing Verizon insiders??? Those people are as qualified at giving tech updates as a McWorker is at being a gourmet chef.

The BB Mobile Manager told me there was a "hard release date" of 2/14 when I pre-ordered my phone. He said it was emailed out from BB Corporate that this was the release date. Obviously it wasn't that hard of a release date -- but it isn't like everyone got told by some 16 year old behind the counter at BB. But I can understand why a lot of us really thought 2/14 was a good date -- especially considering we haven't really heard anything official from anyone.
I'm not mad or anything -- disappointed, yeah because I'd love to have a new phone right now. But -- all of us have been waiting this long, another 10 days isn't horrible I guess.

We saw that very same internal BB document in here a while back and have already discussed it in the past. What it said was release date of 2/14, "subject to change." It was NEVER a "hard" release date. What he told you was wrong.

That's flat out wrong. Your BB sounds like they totally made that up or just carelessly assumed that because of the "national retail exclusivity" (which we know just means as to other third party retailers, not VZW stores). There is just no way that's true. It will be same day, or possibly a week apart (if at all).
