If Apple's legal machine says so, then yes. Indeed, it would be very unusual for BB to sell the phone before VZW can-- but If BB actually does that -- and VZW can activate the phones -- then this will have been driven by the lawers, not by common sense

Called my best everyday this week and every time I asked if I can get my phone Monday they still say yes they are still going to be available for pick up Monday, they have said it everyday. So Sunday evening when I call I guess we will see.

I looked it up and its a little bit more than an hour away. Hopefully the BB in Waldorf has them on Monday.

Will Waldorf have 4g? I live in Lexington Park during the summer/winter breaks, so I doubt 4g will be here. At least Im in Fairfax more so and I'll have it there!

Yep, I plan on posting right after I walk out the door with it. If it ends up not happening then they are going to owe me a free case or something since they have been so adimate about it being there Monday. Also they said it will be 699 off contract price, so I think that the 750 isn't the price every best buy will charge but it's just a general price.

I just called my local BestBuy and they said the release date they have is the 24th. Then they told me how to do the preorder with the $50 down but you get it back on a giftcard or whatever. So it looks like that's where I'll be going. Less than two weeks left with this POS D1!!

i'm thinking the scan of the thunderbolt price was the 2/20 ad which would lineup with a 2/21 or thereabouts launch. So for those of you looking for a 2/14 launch you'll have to wait a week.

A corporate rep told me that BB made a deal with Verizon. Verizon would get to promote and push the iPhone and BB would promote and push the Thunderbolt until the iPhone craze dies down then Verizon will start selling it. Verizon really does not make money off the phones its the contracts that they get their money from. So to allow BB to sell a phone before they do is no problem for Verizon because they still get the contract.

I don't get why Verizon would have to cut a deal with BB....why couldn't they just promote the iPhone 4 and the TB?

Okay, confirmed with Droid Life, this is next weeks (20) ad. So, we should look for the phone right around then. After months and months of being strung around, we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!
