if verizon would just say something. It's not even close in comparison but it very minutely like the 80miilion egyptians who just overthrew their president an hour ago. Very Very Very Very minutely. We're anxiously awaiting an announcemnt from verizon.

Off topic congrats to the egyptians for overthrowing their president, now just keep the radicals out of office. We don't need an al-qaeda lead country.

there hasnt been an official announcement. But it will be that day. date was "leaked" to major outlets by those that know.

My BB here in Tucson is still saying that they will have the TB on the 14th. I guess we will all see in a few short days.

Maybe I'll drive down to Tuscon, it's worth it for a phone that's not being a raging pile of ****, right?
The sooner the better, because I'm not sure how much longer D1 and I can tolerate each other.

I'll probably run over to BB today and see what they say.

i think i can make it to the 24th hehe. My droid is failing kinda quickly. Calls don't come through reliably and texts don't come in at all, plus the wifi is crapping out. I've bounced between MIUI and UD 2.5 with no real change how janky my phone is acting. Gawd willing there will be some kind of announcement this week. I've been surprised this hasn't made it into the tech podcast circle. No mention on Buzz Out Loud or Tech News Today that Verizon's first 4G LTE phone might be delayed or anything.

I'll be purchasing my ThunderBolt through Verizon as I do with all phones I buy. For those you ordering through Best Buy: If and when the 24th is made the official release date, and you were told/promised the phone would be out the 14th, I would complain and demand a free case or accessory of some sort from the Best Buy manager.

My local Best Buy told me there was no official date yet, but rather they'd call me once it was official to let me know when I could pick it up.

Like I said though; for those who are posting that their Best Buy said/urged it would be here on Monday, you should definitely complain of some sort.

it will be the same across all retail channels. BB sometimes sells them early when they get them in but thats frowned upon.
