HTC One M9 'Hima' May Get its Own Unveiling Event Separate from CES & MWC

We aren't sure this qualifies as news, because we probably could have guessed it anyway. Supposedly HTC will be holding their own press event which will be separate from CES and/or Mobile World Congress in order to unveil their next-gen HTC One M9. The phone is internally code-named the HTC 'Hima,' and below are the rumored specs of the device:

• 5-inch (or possibly larger) 1080 x 1920 resolution display
• Quad-core, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor
• 3GB of RAM
• 2840 mAh battery
• 20.7-megapixel camera (likely from Sony)
• Gray, Silver, and Gold color options

We expect HTC's separate event to be held sometime between these two trade events, and will more than likely be closer to MWC in February.
