New rumors of an new HTC Butterfly device just started hitting the web this morning. A device identified as the HTC Butterfly 3 was shared by @upleaks, and the leakster claims it will come with a 5.2-inch WQHD 2K display.
More than likely, the Butterfly 3 will follow the same pattern as previous Butterfly devices from HTC and will have the same internals as the HTC One. What's obviously outside the norm about this device is that it will supposedly have the upgraded display over the HTC One.
Perhaps HTC feels the higher end display is better received in Asian markets, which is where they typically market the HTC Butterfly series.
