How to use droid 2 global's USB tether?

They say all android 2.2 has this function, but how to use it?

THe root one I dont believe it works as we cant change are kernel out & the stock kernel does not support it but there is a app in the app market that is 9.99 A little pricey but well worth I tether it off my cpu at home my lap top & also my xbox 360

the app is called easy tether updates are pretty common & great dev support for this app

or you can use pda.net that you can find in the Market,but be sure you have that app. also installed on your comp...it's limited only to get all the function after a week of trial (i think).....but till now for almost 3 months of using it.. it's still working on my lap top w/ limited functionality.
