How to turn off viewing remote devices in Gallery?

My wife just got the S3 and the Gallery is showing our main computer and its pictures. It's totally unorganized and she doesn't want it showing. Is there a way to make it so it doesn't show?

I cannot seems to find how to kill this either... I have all DLNA off, but cannot find where to disable remote "galleries"

Press the Menu button and then View By -> Content On Device (or something like that). However, for some reason that setting is not sticky. I downloaded and now use QuickPic as my photo viewer. Lot of configuration options that stick.

I can select "View By" and choose just content on the device, but I cannot stop the device from discovering nearby content.
