I think I remember FoxCat posting a thread with a download to silence the screen shot, but you had to be rooted to implement it.

IMHO it is a poor idea to not have the screen shot capture audio adjustable.......

Yes, it was FoxCat, but you don't need to be rooted as I use it on a stock RAZR Maxx.

Sucks that you have to run a separate app just to silence it.. I keep forgetting when I have my headphones on--the screenshot snapshot noise is seriously painful
