how to turn off email notifications from this site?

I am trying to find out if it is possible to turn off email notifications from this site, because they go to my g mail, and my g mail goes to my phone... its a vicious cycle.

go into your control panel and click the edit options on teh left. In there you can turn off your default notifications. Then if there is aa thread you want to subscribe to, you can do it from the thread itself
