How to transfer my apps to new phone?

should I need to re download them again?
Can I access to the data that I have saved for apps such as training logs with new phone? Are those data in the developers saver or in my ?

Im getting a new droid x to replace my current droid x because Im having a speaker problem...

once you sync and enter your gmail account just go to the market and it should be there to redownload

However, logs and settings will likely need to be added back in. Export whatever you can to your SD card and copy that to your computer as a just in case.
