How to transfer everything to new phone?

This has to have been covered. But. I did search and can't find such a thread.

I accidentally got a new phone. A entirely different thread I won't go into here.

But I need to transfer 1) Contacts 2) Phone Log and 3) Calendar to the new phone. I am running SMS Backup and Restore so I think I have texts covered. Is there an easy way to transfer the contacts, phone log and calendar to my desktop from the old phone and then back to the new one? If not, is there a difficult way?

Any help appreciated.

Are they the same brand phone? Most major companies have an app that will do this. Some have an app that will work with different brand phones. There are also many third party apps that will do that too. Read the descriptions and reviews completely to make sure you pick a safe app.

See?!?! This is what I get for trying to plan ahead, something I rarely do. And it won't happen again! The new phone had an app built in, "Smart Switch". Worked smoothly. But thank you for responding and offering help.
