how to set a way point

Im a fishermen. How can I use google map to set a way point. Is there a free app to be to set more than five waypionts. If I have to pay that's ok.

Did you find something that works? I have my tracks and hubby and I love to fish and use it all the time...It makes it nice and easy to remember where the big ones were last time, or the scenic spot I liked...
