Why move apps to the sd card? It doesn't save the settings of the app. In this case,i had a game that was on my sd card. I installed a rom and the game disappeared and when I reinstalled it it was all reset. Is the point only to save space on the phone?

Ahh, well then I may as well not move stuff. My droid x has more than enough internal space.

Its pointless for DX users.

qft. The feature is for users with small internal storage spaces. Since the X has 8gb of internal, its not an issue for us at all. You could install well over 100+ apps even games to the internal and still have well over 4gb free. I have 6gb free with at least 100 apps installed. Gotta love internal storage.
