[HOW TO] Root your Motorola Droid 4 [Windows]

Instructions:

• Download the required files from here
• Extract them to a folder
• Install latest Motorola drivers (Download)
• Enable USB debugging mode in phone setting
• Connect your Droid 4 to PC
• Execute “RUN.BAT” from the extracted files
• You're good to go. :icon_wink:

so you ended up getting the d4 good to hear!!!!

Just making sure... does this delete anything.. reset my device.. or anything. I don't need to load a new ROM or anything after i root.. do I?

It doesn't delete anything, just gives you root/administrator access so you can modify your phone or put in a rom.
