How come when I get a message I have no led light?

That happens to me sometimes also. Find the setting for the pulse notification light and unchecked the box then recheck it, if that doesn't work try rebooting.

Go with GummyNex I love it, I recommend rom toolbox pro it has a lot of one click nexus roms and lots of interface and developer options for any rom

Yeah just make sure it's built for the galaxy nexus which they will say if they are and most all are 4.0.4 or 3. When you install the rom it will update your ICS to whichever firmware it states, gummy is 4.0.3 and I use that with a leaked radio 4.0.4 from rootwiki

Also make sure that the roms you are downloading are for "TORO" or "CDMA".
