How to prep a NEW Droid X2 for sale?

Droid newbie here. ;P

I have a new Verizon wireless Droid X2 that has not yet been activated. If I want to sell it, what do I need to remove, etc? Should it be activated first or not? Bought through Wirefly and yes I know about ETF.

You don't have to do anything, its ready to be sold n activated. So just to be clear, you know about the wirefly 200 dollar ETF? and if your cancelling your Verizon line than it will add a 350 ETF as well?

I don't think there is a Verizon ETF if it was never even activated. Could be wrong though.

I'm not canceling the Verizon line. But isn't there something on the phone that is linked to me? Or can the # be used by ANYONE who activates it? Can I sell with CLEAN ESN instead of BAD ESN?

Wirefly and amazonwireless only require that you hold your account for six months not the phone, I bought a d2g threw wirefly and activated an x2 with no reprocuzions.

And just to clairify, you can activate any phone e on that number you want it does not have to be the phone you bought, a majority of the time when an Esn is bad is because someone neglected to pay their bill and vzw flagged that esn to not be activated until that bill is paid. Just an fyi.
